Mental Health Case Manager
Open Position – March 2024 – Van Wert location
Service Locations: Van Wert, Delphos and Paulding offices
Status: Full time and Part Time Available
Responsible for building and maintaining therapeutic relationships and providing basic outreach to a caseload of clients who have a history of severe and persistent mental illness and/or other drug abuse or dependence.
Coordinates Individual Service Plan (treatment plan) for clients. Assists and supports the client in crisis situations. Offers support including education and consultation to family or significant others. Aids the clients in symptom monitoring and self-management of symptoms to facilitate appropriate adaptation. Assists in the development of skills for recovery and successful community living.
Assists and supports the client in obtaining and utilizing the essential community resources as well as the involvement in positive relationships and activities within the community.
A Bachelor or Associates degree in social work or a related degree (psychology, sociology, education, criminal justice), and/OR two years of work experience in a related field.

No weekends or on-call responsibilities are required in this position.

Westwood Behavioral Health Center- Van Wert is seeking an individual to provide mental health and substance use disorder treatment to individuals involved in the adult criminal justice setting. The position is based in court and jail settings, and service are provided primarily in these settings as well. Some duties include: Completing diagnostic assessments, develop appropriate treatment plans, conducting individual and group treatment sessions, report writing, and collection and submission of data.
An active Ohio licensure as an LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC or LICDC is required. The position is based in court and jail settings, and service are provided primarily in these settings as well.
No evening hours, weekends or on call responsibilities are required of this position.

This position assists individuals who are diagnosed with substance use disorders. The case manager works closely with our local courts and probation officers to maximize positive outcomes. This position supports the client in their recovery plan and links them with needed resources such as peer support, housing, employment, healthcare, entitlement programs, childcare etc. Assists in the development of skills for recovery and successful community living. Assists and supports the client in obtaining and utilizing the essential community resources as well as the involvement in positive relationships and activities within the community.

School Based Mental Health Therapist
This outpatient therapy position is embedded within the school buildings to provide on site mental health services to students ages 5-19. Diagnostic Assessments will be provided as well as outpatient therapy services. Prevention services are also offered as well as staff consultation.

Job Type: Full Time
Billing Insurance clerk position is responsible for collaborating with electronic health record clearinghouse to resolve insurance claim denials/re-works. Conduct benefits, coverage, and prior authorizations as necessary. Perform pre-billing validations and reports.
The clerical portion of the position is responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling client appointments, and assisting clients with initial and financial paperwork. This position may also be involved in typing, filing, copying and other clerical duties of this kind.
Experience/Certification Required: High School Diploma/GED. Prefer experience with electronic health record Billing processes and products, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
Salary/Benefits: $31,200 – $37,440 per year, 40 hours per week, day shift, potential evening hours. Vacation, personal time off, medical benefits and retirement benefits are available for full time positions.
