Mark Spieles, LISW-S

CEO

Mark has over 20 years working in the social service field. He joined Westwood Behavioral in 2004, and has served as a Behavioral Health Therapist, Clinical Supervisor prior to being named Chief Executive Officer in 2012.

Mark has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Toledo, Master’s Degree in Social Work and Certificate in Leadership in Human Services Management from The Ohio State University. Mark holds a License as an Independent Social Worker with a Supervisory Endorsement (LISW-S).

Molly Shepherd Spieles, LISW-S

Director of Clinical Services

Molly has over 24 years working in the social service field.  She has been employed with Westwood Behavioral Health Center since 2000, and has served as a Behavioral Health Therapist, Crisis Intervention worker and Home Based Interventionist prior to being named Director of Clinical Services in 2005.

Molly earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Taylor University, and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University.   Molly completed the Child Abuse Prevention Studies program at The University of Minnesota.   Molly holds a License as an Independent Social Worker with a Supervisory Endorsement (LISW-S)

Lynn Johnson

Chief Financial Officer

Lynn joined Westwood Behavioral in 1997, as part of the merger with Fountainview Center.  She has served as the Chief Financial Officer since joining the agency.  Lynn earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mount Vernon University.

Amanda Tickle, MSW, LISW

QMHS and Case Management Supervisor - Van Wert & Delphos

Amanda has been employed with Westwood Behavioral since 2002.  In addition to being the supervisor for the case management departments in Van Wert and Delphos,  Amanda also provides individual therapy services as well as home based clinical interventions. 

She earned a Bachelor of Psychology from Wright State University and a Masters in Social Work from The Ohio State University.  She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).

L. Ashley Tope, MSW, LISW-S

Paulding Site Supervisor

Ashley joined Westwood Behavioral in May 2017. She is the Paulding site supervisor, providing oversight to both case management and therapy services.  She also  provides mental health and substance use disorder treatment services out of the Paulding office. Ashley is also trained to provide EMDR.  

Ashley earned her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from the University of Saint Francis, and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Toledo. Ashley holds a license as an Independent Social Worker with Supervisory Endorsement, LISW-S.

Kaylee Rickard, MA, LPCC

School Based Services Supervisor



Kaylee joined the Westwood team in 2019.  She provides direct supervision to our school based team in both case management and therapy.  Kaylee also provides outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services.  She is certified to complete CANS assessments.

Kaylee earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ball State University and her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University.

Behavioral Health Clinicians

Anthony Greutman, LSW, LICDC

Tony joined Westwood Behavioral Health in 2001.  Tony earned his bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Defiance College and is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor.  Tony provides substance use disorder treatment as well as integrated mental health/SUD services.  He facilitates Men’s Recovery Groups and provides services to clients in Recovery Courts in Van Wert and Paulding counties and also works in the Veteran’s Court Program at the Van Wert Municipal Court.

Sam Manz, MEd, LPC

Sam joined Westwood Behavioral in 2012. Sam earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Toledo, and his Master’s of Education in School Counseling from the University of Dayton.  Sam is licensed as a Professional Counselor.

Pam Jennings, MSW, LSW

Pam has been employed in the Tri County Mental Health System since 1997, becoming a Westwood Behavioral employee in 2007. Pam earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and her Master’s of Social Work from The Ohio State University.  She is a Licensed Social Worker.  Pam provides Crisis Intervention Services to both Van Wert and Paulding counties.  Pam provides outpatient clinical services to both mental health and substance use populations.  

Todd Trippett, MA, LSW

Todd joined Westwood Behavioral in 2003, and has over twenty years experience working in the social services field. Todd earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal justice from Ohio State University, and his Master’s Degree in Counseling from Liberty University.  Todd is a Licensed Social Worker.  Todd provides outpatient services to both mental health and substance use disorder populations.  He has extensive experience in working with adolescents and provides many group services to this population including anger management, moral reasoning and healthy relationships.  

Amanda Thomas, LCDC-III

Amanda first joined Westwood Behavioral Health in 2008.  She provides substance use disorder services at both the outpatient and intensive outpatient therapy levels of care.  She works extensively in our Recovery Court Program providing both individual and group therapy.  

Amanda earned her Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology, Sociology and Criminology from Capital University.  She completed her training for Addictions Counseling at The Institute of Chemical Dependency Studies.   

Brenna Hilkey, MSW, LSW

Brenna joined Westwood Behavioral Health Center in 2022. She provides School Based Mental Health services.  She also facilitates the therapy portion of our Summer Youth Programming.  Brenna earned her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Bowling Green State University and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Ohio University.   Brenna is a Licensed Social Worker.  

Beth Dye, BSW, LSW

Beth joined Westwood Behavioral Health Center in 2022. She provides School Based Mental Health services.  She has worked in a variety of settings with youth including providing prevention programing in the schools, outpatient and in home therapy services  with youth in foster care and has authored the Pink abstinence program.    Beth earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Psychology degrees from Bluffton University.  Beth is a Licensed Social Worker.  

Crystal Howell, BSW, LSW

Crystal joined Westwood Behavioral Health Center in 2021. She provides School Based Mental Health services.  Crystal earned her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Bluffton University .  Crystal is a Licensed Social Worker.  

Sierra Shaffer, BSW, LSW

Sierra joined the Westwood team in  2022.  She provides School Based Mental Health services and has worked in our Summer Youth Programming for children and adolescents.    Sierra earned her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from The University of Toledo and is currently completing her internship for her Masters of Social Work through The Ohio State University.  Sierra is a Licensed Social Worker.  

Gilbert Butler, PsyD

Dr. Butler joined the Westwood team in  2007.  He provides outpatient mental health services.  Dr. Butler earned his Doctor of Psychology degree from Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology.  He is licensed through The Ohio Board of Psychology.  

Ashlen Glenn, MA, LPC, CTP

Ashlen first started at Westwood Behavioral Health in  2018.  She provides outpatient therapy services through our Employee Assistance Program.  Ashlen is a certified trauma practitioner.   Ashlen earned her Bachelor of Psychology degree from The University of Toledo and completed her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Liberty University.  Ashlen is a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Andrea Ricker, BSW, LSW

Andrea began her employment at Westwood Behavioral Health in  2017.  Andrea is our Recovery Court Coordinator for Paulding County.  She also provides oversight of case management for that program and our Service Navigation program.   Andrea provides a limited amount of outpatient clinical services.  She received her Bachelor of Social Work from Bluffton University.   She is a licensed social worker.  

Jane Schmid, MA

Jane began work at Westwood in 2022.   She serves as the Recovery Court Coordinator for the program with the Van Wert Court of Common Pleas.  Jane earned her Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Huntington University.  She serves on multiple boards and committees in our community including Ohio Women’s Network and  Overdose Prevention Committee.
