Telemedicine is the use of medical information exchanged from one site to another via electronic communications to improve a patient’s clinical health status. Telemedicine includes applications and services using two-way video, email, smart phones, wireless tools and other forms of telecommunications technology.  This technology increases the capacity to serve, and allows for our clients to access specialty care when it was previously unavailable or unable to accessed due to geography.  Telemedicine improves access to needed treatment, increases the capacity to serve, and is cost efficient.  These benefits are all gained without sacrificing quality of care.
